Emmerdale's Amit Sharma, played by Anil Goutam, has left the show after just five months. His shocking exit was aired on Friday's (March 29) episode of the ITV soap as fans watched as Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) took revenge on his father Amit for causing the death of his brother Rishi (Baskher Patel). Earlier in the week, Jai discovered that Amit had pushed Rishi down the stairs, leading to his death last year.
