Strictly Come Dancing fans were left doing a double take as they spotted a new famous face in the live studio audience. Celebrity spotting on the ballroom's sidelines has become quite the hobby during the show's 2024 series.

So Saturday night (December 7) was no different as the semi-final of the BBC One dance contest took place. It was a big night in the ballroom as the five remaining couples performed two dances each in a bid to make it through to next week's final.

The evening kicked off with a dramatic VT as the celebrities looked ahead to the penultimate week of the hit dance competition before hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcomed viewers to the latest episode and the judges made their way onto the floor. And it was the latter who got Strictly fans talking on social media. @RealityAbby said: "Did I just see Paul Hollywood in the audience for Strictly #Strictly." @solilioquy asked: "Why is paul hollywood in the audience #strictly." @Wandoful added: "Didn’t have Paul Hollywood in the Strictly audience on my 2024 bingo card #Strictly." He was then honoured during the show when Craig Revel Horwood made an unexpected move.
