Former BBC Strictly Come Dancing star and broadcasting legend Angela Rippon has shared an update after it was announced she would be replaced on the next season of Rip Off Britain.

The 80-year-old, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, will be replaced by Louise Minchin on the next season of Rip Off Britain.

The PA news agency understands that Angela has stepped away from the show to focus on other projects, but the BBC is looking forward to having her back in future series of the consumer affairs programme.

Angela took to Instagram on Friday and shared details from her charity work as she attended a Carol Concert in aid of the Carers Trust last night, the Liverpool Echo reports.
