Mad Cool festival have revealed the full slate of stage times for this year’s edition.Seasick Steve and Alec Benjamin will go head-to-head as the first acts to perform, both taking to their stages – the titular Mad Cool mainstage and Vibra Mahou stage, respectively – at 5:50pm on Wednesday. Metallica have the longest set of the night – and evidently, the entire festival – with a two-hour set running from 9:30pm to 11:30pm on the Mad Cool stage.Closing out the night will be Twenty One Pilots and Chvrches, however the latter will perform a slightly shorter set: Twenty One Pilots are set to go out at 11:35pm on the Madrid Is Life mainstage, while Chvrches’ set starts at midnight on the Region Of Madrid stage.

Mad Cool festival have unveiled the final line-up for this year’s iteration, spearheaded by the addition of new headliner Incubus.The ‘Drive’ rockers join as one of three acts set to close out the third day of the five-day festival (Friday July 8), headlining alongside Muse and Alt-J. The Black Keys have unveiled the latest single from their upcoming 11th studio album ‘Dropout Boogie’, the slow-burning ‘It Ain’t Over’.Released on on April 27, the track features the writing contributions of Reigning Sound frontman Greg Cartwright, who was previously revealed as a collaborator on the album alongside Billy F. Kings Of Leon will return to Australia in late 2022, following the indefinite postponement of their planned tour earlier this year.The tour – in support of the band’s 2021 album ‘When You See Yourself’ – will now take place between late October and early November. In addition to their planned shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, the band will now also appear at the Sporting Precinct in Mildura – a regional city in the northwest of Victoria.

Arctic Monkeys have shared their support for iconic Sheffield venue, The Leadmill, after the venue announced it was facing threat of closure next year due to its landlord issuing a notice of eviction.First opening its doors in 1980, the club hosted early shows from the High Green, Sheffield born band, as well as gigs from Kings Of Leon and The Killers.
