Kings Of Leon‘s bassist, Jared Followill, seems to have dispelled rumours that the band will be making a surprise appearance at Glastonbury this year.Following a cryptic post on the band’s Instagram yesterday, Followill took to Twitter earlier today to share another update, writing: “Everybody keeps telling me we’re playing a secret gig at Glastonbury today. Somebody has to tell our manager, booking agent, singer, etc.. ASAP.”Yesterday, the band shared a video of their performance at Worthy Farm in 2008.

Kings Of Leon will return to Australia in late 2022, following the indefinite postponement of their planned tour earlier this year.The tour – in support of the band’s 2021 album ‘When You See Yourself’ – will now take place between late October and early November. In addition to their planned shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, the band will now also appear at the Sporting Precinct in Mildura – a regional city in the northwest of Victoria.

The three brothers that make up three-fourths of the rock band Kings Of Leon are in mourning following the death of their beloved mother, Betty Ann Murphy.Her passing comes just one day afterCaleb, Nathan and Jared Followill took to the group's official website to reveal that their mother's health had taken 'a turn for the worse' and that Thursday's and Friday's shows in California had been canceled.Bu then on Friday, Nathan, 42, the oldest of the brothers, took to his Instagram page and announced the sad news of their mother's passing, along with a throwback photo of himself as a child with his mom, and another of her name tattooed on his body.

Kings Of Leon‘s Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill have cancelled a number of tour dates to spend time with their dying mother following a recent “medical crisis”.Posting on Instagram, the band wrote: “Our mother, who many of our fans know and love, has been dealing with a medical crisis for the last several weeks and while it has been hard to take the stage each night, it has been the love and energy from you, our fans, that has gotten us through.“Just before taking the stage at The Forum we learned she took a turn for the worse.
