Pedro Pascal has been a fan-favorite star for years, however, his breakthrough role in  almost took its toll!During a recent edition of 's Actor Roundtable Pascal participated in — alongside Kieran Culkin, Jeff Bridges, Michael Imperioli, Evan Peters and Damson Idris — moderator Lacey Rose asked the group about their typical or most memorable interactions with fans.Damson said how many people joke that he's «their husband,» while Culkin explained how people seem to feel very comfortable putting their arms around him, or grabbing and touching him. For Pascal, the interactions he remembers were decidedly more weird.«I remember, earlier on, because of  and the way my character died — speaking of touching — people were super into taking selfies with their thumbs in my eyes,» he joked, referring to how hischaracter, Oberyn Martell, was killed in a fight to the death with Gregor «The Mountain» Clegane, who crushed his skull with his hands after gouging out his eyes.«Wow, that’s a lot of trust,» Culkin joked.«At first, I was so earnest and happy about the success of the character in the show, I’d let them!» Pascal admitted. «And then I remember getting a bit of an eye infection.»Thus, the chances of getting to pretend to gouge out his eyes for a fun photo op seem slim for fans in the future.During the lengthy and candid conversation, Pascal was also asked about the «daddy narrative» that has developed around him in the public consciousness, and he laughingly admitted, «Yeah, I am having fun with it.»«It seems a little role-related.

The Last Of Us and The Mandalorian, the actor is also well-known for portraying Oberyn Martell in season four of Game of Thrones.The character was a charismatic prince who met a gruesome end when the towering knight Ser Gregor Clegane stuck his thumbs in his eyes and crushed his skull.In a recent Hollywood Reporter roundtable discussion with other actors, including Succession star Kieran Culkin, Pascal revealed how he used to allow his fans to pay tribute to Oberny’s violent death when taking selfies together.“I remember, early on, because of Game of Thrones and the way my character died, people were super into taking selfies with their thumbs in my eyes,” Pascal said.“That’s a lot of trust!” Culkin said in response.“At first, I was so earnest and happy about the success of the character in the show, I’d let them! In New York! Of all places,” Pascal continued. “And then I remember getting a bit of an eye infection.”The conversation, which also featured Snowfall star Damson Idris, Dahmer‘s Evan Peters, The Old Man‘s Jeff Bridges, and The White Lotus star Michael Imperioli, was sparked by a discussion about setting boundaries with enthusiastic fans.Back in April, Pascal admitted that he nearly quit acting after experiencing years of rejection.“I was getting my ass fucking kicked,” he told Esquire, discussing his time working as a waiter throughout the 1990s.

Culkin took over the interview for a bit, asking Pascal some questions, including whether Pascal would like to be his daddy.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The History Channel has greenlit a range of new docuseries and documentaries that are produced by Hollywood stars like Morgan Freeman, Bradley Cooper, and Kevin Costner. The announcements were made as part of a larger A+E Networks slate reveal ahead of its 2023-2024 upfronts presentation. Additional projects hail from producers Michael Imperioli and Dan Aykroyd. Costner will host and executive produce an eight episode docuseries currently titled “Kevin Costner’s The West.” The series is said to detail how the Wild West period of American history continues to impact the country today.

I asked “The White Lotus” star what he thinks about all the fan chatter hoping that he and Will Sharpe’s characters were going to hook up during Season 2 of Mike White’s hit HBO show. “They cut the sex scene,” James deadpanned on the red carpet at the SAG Awards, eliciting a big laugh from his TV wife Meghann Fahy. “It began in a kind of romantic way but then it gets very carnal, but Mike decided to cut it. No, I’m joking! There was no sex scene.” James and Fahy also revealed that they didn’t have to do a chemistry read together before they were cast. “We didn’t do any table reads either, which I loved,” Fahy said.

Emily Longeretta The limited series category is saying goodbye to Tanya and Co. at the 2023 Emmy Awards. The TV Academy is no longer allowing HBO’s “The White Lotus” in the limited/anthology category and Variety has confirmed that the series will move to the drama category. Season 1, starring Jennifer Coolidge, Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton and Sydney Sweeney, earned 10 Emmy Awards. The second season brought back Coolidge as her Season 1 character — new cast members included Aubrey Plaza, Meghann Fahy, Theo James and Michael Imperioli. In 2021, the Television Academy defined what a limited or anthology series is, explaining that the story must be resolved within its season, with no ongoing storylines allowed.

White Lotus Season 3 spoilers have been few and far between. However, fans are already thinking ahead. Many viewers have expressed interest in seeing characters from the previous two seasons return.
