As Eurovision reaches it’s exciting conclusion on Saturday, actress and comedian Catherine Tate will be the lucky star reading out the results of the UK’s vote at the annual song contest. The actress and comedian, 53, will deliver the results of the country’s national jury – including the coveted “douze points” – live from the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Saturday. It will be the first time a UK spokesperson has announced the scores from the same location as the contest itself.

The remaining tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool will go on sale next week, the BBC has announced. A final batch of tickets for each of the nine live shows held in May will be up for grabs on Monday, April 24, at midday.

Yossman Production head Alison Barnett has been unveiled as the recipient of this year’s BAFTA Television Craft Special Award in honor of her pioneering role as one of U.K. television’s first female head of productions. Barnett, who has worked in television for forty years, is currently head of production at Kudos. She has worked on shows including “Doctor Who” and “The Rig.” “I’m overwhelmed to receive this award from BAFTA,” said Barnett. “But mainly I’m delighted to receive it on behalf of all those unsung heroes who work in production offices throughout the television industry. This is a chance for them to be recognised today too.” The BAFTA TV Craft Awards are set to take place on April 23 in London, with former “Great British Baking Show” presenter Mel Giedroyc hosting the ceremony.

Eurovision Song Contest 2023 entry is set to be revealed tomorrow (March 9).The BBC have said an announcement will be made on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 breakfast show at 8.30am GMT.Among the favourites to represent the UK include Lymington singer-songwriter Birdy with odds of of 6/4, Rina Sawayama, Jessie Ware and Ellie Goulding.Following the same selection process as last year, the BBC has been working with a management company to pick the act.The UK is one of the last competing countries to reveal its song for 2023.

Waddingham, who plays soccer club owner Rebecca Welton in the Apple TV drama, will host Eurovision alongside Graham Norton, “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina. McKellen announced the news on Monday morning in central London by emerging from a giant gold egg alongside comedian John Bishop, who will also be starring in the production. Former “Great British Baking Show” host Mel Giedroyc (pictured above, holding McKellen’s hand) will also appear. McKellen will play the title role of Mother Goose (also known as “Ma”) while Bishop will play Mother Goose’s husband Vic (“Pa”).
