Louise Minchin revealed her husband was diagnosed with cancer when he was 28-years-old during her latest TV appearance.The former BBC Breakfast star was a recent panellist on ITV's Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, playing against comedian Josh Widdicombe and presenter Michelle Ackerley.During her stint, she touched on her husband David Minchin's cancer diagnosis after sharing that she wanted to win cash to support the organisation Move which helps people cope with cancer.The mum-of-two revealed her husband had cancer during his late twenties and would've "benefitted" from a charity like Move.Louise explained: "This charity is called Move and it works with people who are suffering with cancer or affected by cancer to get them moving."My husband had cancer when he was 28 so he would have very much benefitted from a charity like this."Despite her charitable aims, Louise was the second celebrity to be eliminated from the show and managed to get £2,600 for Move.During her time on the show, Louise made it to the second round and went head-to-head with Josh to get to the final round.However, the TV presenter answered several questions incorrectly meaning she didn't get the chance to win as many counters from the machine as she had hoped.As a result, Louise was eliminated from the show, with Ben sending her off in typical Tipping Point fashion.Her husband David has now recovered from cancer - with Louise revealing in 2016 that he was a survivor.Louise rarely speaks about her husband but in 2021 discussed about the "turning point" in their relationship. During her BBC Breakfast stint, she said that their relationship changed during a ski trip.
