Ex-Celtic boss Wim Jansen dies as tributes paid to boss who stopped Rangers 10-in-a-row
Celtic manager Wim Jansen, who helped the club stop Rangers from winning 10 titles in a row in 1998, following his death.His former club Feyenoord announced on Tuesday that Jansen had died at the age of 75 following a battle with dementia.Following a successful playing career that included 65 Netherlands caps, Jansen managed his boyhood club before moving to Scotland.Despite spending only only two seasons at Parkhead, he notably led the Hoops to the title by two points in 1997/98 campaign, after rivals Rangers had won nine in a row Celtic said in a statement: "Everyone at Celtic Park was saddened to hear of the sad passing of former manager Wim Jansen this morning at the age of 75.
