Steven Tyler has made his return to the stage after damaging his vocal cords last year – watch footage of his most recent performance below.Last night (May 15), Tyler surprised the audience at the Eventim Apollo in London who were in attendance for The Black Crowes‘ concert.To close off their set, The Black Crowes brought out the Aerosmith frontman to perform a cover of ‘Mama Kin’, for which Chris Robinson and Tyler took turns singing, allowing for Tyler to rest his voice in between lines.Watch fan-shot footage of Steven Tyler performing ‘Mama Kin’ below.The performance marked Tyler’s first time returning to the stage after he had damaged his vocal cords in September just a few shows into Aerosmith’s farewell tour, also known as the ‘Peace Out’ tour.Shortly after the vocal injury, it was announced that Aerosmith would be postponing the North American leg of the trek.
