Man arrested after fleeing scene as Edinburgh cyclist rushed to hospital
car and the cyclist.It's understood cops raced to the scene on London Road at the junction with Hillside Crescent at around 8.20am.A 32-year-old male cyclist was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.The car had "failed to stop" following the collision but a 53-year-old male driver was later traced to the Blair Atholl area.He was arrested and charged with road traffic offences and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today, July 14.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to London Road at the junction with Hillside Crescent in Edinburgh, at around 8.20am on Tuesday, 13 July, 2021, following a crash involving a cyclist and a car."The 32-year-old male cyclist was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for
