The personal belongings of a missing Scots hillwalker have been found during a search for him. Ross Kinghorn was last seen in Blair Atholl on January 16, after being captured on CCTV boarding a train from Linlithgow, West Lothian, at around 6.30am on Monday, January 16.
The 57-year-old was travelling to the Bridge of Tilt area in Perthshire with the intention of going on a hike.His last confirmed sighting was around 9am the same day, after he arrived in Blair Atholl.
It is believed Ross then set out for the Beinn a' Ghlò hills.He was reported missing on Friday, January 20 after he failed to return from the trip as planned, with police launching an extensive search of the area.
Some of Ross's personal items have since been found near Bridge of Tilt.Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen Ross to get in touch.
