People going to the pub are 'insulting NHS workers', claims furious nurse

A nurse has urged people to stop going on nights out in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus. Dr Doireann O'leary took to Instagram to give her 130k followers what she claims is the most important message she'll ever have to share.

Staff are working night and day to tackle the pandemic we currently face - risking catching the deadly virus themselves as they try to help others.

She said: "We’ve asked the public to undertake social distancing in order to stop the spread of covid19 so that our hospitals aren’t overwhelmed over the coming days and weeks.
