ITV This Morning's Alison Hammond gives rare insight into home life with son and other housemate

Alison Hammond has opened up in a rare display about life at home with her teenage son. The This Morning host sat down with her fellow daytime star Holly Willoughby for a chat on her By the light of the Moon podcast.

Holly, 40, sits down with a different guest every month and this month it is Alison, 47. The teaser for the interview says: "Alison has so many stories to tell, all washed down with that signature laugh, however like all of us, there is a quieter, more sensitive side. During their conversation, which comes after the pair presented a string of show's together for the first time, explained that it is just not her and her son Aiden who reside at her Birmingham home.

Alison and 17-year-old Aiden live with two others - the presenter's gay best friend, Jason, and his dog, Bobby. "My family life is so like, if you look at it from the outside you’ll be like ‘how does that all work?'" the former Big Brother star said. "I live with my gay best friend Jason, I've got Jason’s dog called Bobby, there is my son and me and it is such a great family and we work so well together. "Jason’s there helping me with Aiden, Aiden is there helping Jason, the dog, helping me.

It is just such a good little unit and I absolutely love my home life situation I cook for my boys and home life I am winning!" As well as her home life, Alison also opened up about her family - including late dad, Clifford.
