Paulo Dybala reportedly phoned his agent to scrap a move to Manchester United - while he was sat in Ed Woodward’s office. The Red Devils have long held an interest in Dybala, who has developed into one of the finest attackers in European football since leaving Palermo to join Juventus in 2015.
And according to Fabrizio Romano in Calciomercato, United once came very close to signing the Argentinian playmaker. Dybala’s representative, Jorge Antun, is said to have been in negotiations with Woodward at the club’s London office, only for the player to call the potential transfer off.
It is believed Dybala called Antun and told him that he was not looking to leave Juventus for a big-money switch to England anytime soon.
