Matteo Darmian believes Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward should offer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a long-term contract.
Darmian spent the second half of last season under Solskjaer at Old Trafford before leaving the Red Devils to join Serie A outfit Parma.
The 30-year-old right-back has played 21 times for Parma this season after a stop-start career at United. Though the Italian only has good memories of Solskjaer and believes the former striker should be in charge of the Premier League giants for many years to come.
