Former midfielder Paul Ince believes Manchester United's reported decision to offer Paul Pogba a contract worth £400,000-per-week is a sign of "desperation" from the club.
It was reported by French newspaper L'Equipe last week that Pogba wants to stay at Old Trafford beyond the end of his current contract expiry next summer and could be set to put pen to paper on a deal worth £400,000-a-week.
Pogba, who has provided seven assists in seven Premier League appearances so far this season, is now less than three months away from reaching a position when he can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with non-English teams if he has not signed a new deal at United by January.
