Manchester United are prepared to let midfielder Paul Pogba run his contract down and leave the club for nothing next summer.

That is according to a report by the Irish Independent which claims that United, who travel to north London to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon, "will not sell" the Frenchman during the January transfer window.

Pogba, who is suspended for United's next three Premier League fixtures following his sending-off against Liverpool last weekend, is out-of-contract at Old Trafford next June and has not yet shown any sign of putting pen to paper on a new deal.
