Paul Hollywood has teased fans by suggesting the upcoming series of The Great British Bake Off could still hit screens in August.
The Wirral-born baker and judge has claimed that the series could be turned around quickly if Boris Johnson lifts the current restrictions over the coming weeks.
Filming for the 11th series of the hit show, which was due to air on Channel 4 in August, was scheduled to get underway in the spring, but this was halted due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Little Britain comedian Matt Lucas was also set to walk into the famous tent, replacing Sandi Toksvig as co-host alongside Noel Fielding.
