Parents at Perth school make urgent appeal for donations of computers

Parents at a Perth school have made an urgent appeal for old computers to help their young learners.Perth Academy Parent Council say the delivery of new laptops could “make a real difference to a child with no access to IT for home learning”.Any donated computer will be refurbished by parent Pieter Van Aswegen, of VA IT Solutions.A spokesperson for the parent council said: “Many of our Perth Academy pupils have limited or no access to online learning and because of this we have set up a ‘Laptops for Learning’ initiative to urgently ensure that all our children can have access to a computer and GLOW (Scotland’s education intranet).Perth and Kinross Council distributes over 1000 food parcels“We are urgently seeking donations of laptops.“A
