After several weeks of retromania, live sport is returning – but with a twist. While we have to wait until June 17 for the Premier League’s return, on Friday we will be treated to watching some of its stars in a different kind of competition in the Paddy Power golf shootout.
The event, billed as the opening ceremony to a mega summer of sport, will see a host of stars test their short games at the behind-closed-doors event at Centurion House, Hertfordshire.
Among those from the footballing world set to take part are Peter Crouch, Jamie Redknapp and Harry Kane. They will collide with some of golf’s biggest names, including Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood and European Tour player Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston, as well as former Ryder Cup captains
