Owner of Helensburgh's most famous moggy passes away aged 92

George The Helensburgh Cat’s Facebook page earlier this month, it was announced than Dennis had passed away at the age of 92.

He had been cared for in Argyll Care Home in the latter stages of his life where mischievous mog George had been able to pay him visits.The statement posted on July 2 read: “I am very sad to tell you all that my beloved hooman Dennis passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday night at the age of 92.“He was very frail at the end and had stopped eating.“He lived a long full life illness free until his dementia made it impossible for him to stay at home.“I did get to visit him several times in the Argyll Care Home where he received excellent care and I will treasure those memories.”The Lennox Herald told in 2019 how.
