The Oscars 2021 will go ahead in person, a spokesperson for the star-studded event has confirmed. It looks like next year's A-list line-up will have to ditch their pyjama bottoms for their glamorous gowns for what is set to be a live televised event. “The Oscars in-person telecast will happen,” a representative for the Academy and ABC told Variety.

They also confirmed that producers have already looked into multiple options to ensure the safety of the 2021 cohort. “The Academy has done a walkthrough of the Dolby [Theatre] recently to see all the multiple options,” the rep continued.
