But a video has emerged of Hamilton in a Gunners kit.As part of a Mercedes promotion in 2015, the racer participated in a five-a-side game with Thierry Henry against other pundits.
The likes of Jamie Redknapp, Ray Parlour and Paul Merson featured in the match, with Martin Tyler on commentary. The mini game was played in front of a small crowd and Hamilton was interviewed after the game by Gunners legend Henry.Hamilton had also spoken about his admiration for former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger in an interview with Sky Sports News after the Frenchman was sacked in 2018."I have always had great admiration for Arsene," he said. "For anyone to have commitment to a team and the loyalty which he has shown through all the ups and downs, through outside individuals saying positives and negatives, but to stay true to your values and continue to strive for what you believe in I think has really been awesome.
