North Korea’s Kim Jong-un sends verbal Covid-19 message to China after death rumours

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has sent a personal message congratulating Chinese President Xi Jinping on the country's apparent success in controlling coronavirus.

State media, KCNA, reported about the message which comes just days after North Korea quashed the leader's death rumours. In addition to this, North Korea has lashed out at South Korea over recent military drills, stating that they are a grave provocation that demands a reaction in KCNA. "Such reckless move of the military warmongers of the south side is the height of the military confrontation which would leave tongue-tied even their master," said KCNA.
