But, Pyongyang chiefs have refused to tell North Koreans why the city was closed off. The silence from Kim Jong-un has led to fears that Covid-19 slipped into the notoriously-secretive nation.
But, others believe it could be a security crackdown for visiting members of the Pyongyang elite and may even indicate that Kim will make an appearance soon.
