Few athletes have left as distinct an impression on sport as Dennis Rodman. He won five NBA titles and was a two-time All-Star, but he remains just as famous (or infamous) for his off-court activities as he does for what he did with a ball in his hand.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Rodman was part of a large family with many brothers and sisters: according to his father, he has either 26 or 28 siblings on his father's side.
However, Rodman himself has stated that he is the oldest of 47 children. He entered the NBA in 1986 after the Detroit Pistons selected him in the second round of the draft.
