North Korea has vowed to balloon drop 12 million propaganda leaflets across the border into South Korea as part of a bizarre tit-for-tat disagreement.

It comes as relations have flared in the peninsula after North Korea blew up a joint liaison office and threatened military action over defectors in the South sending anti-North leaflets across the border.Some 3,000 balloons are being prepped ahead of the launch, the dictatorship's state media reported Monday.Now it has pledged to push ahead with its campaign to send propaganda leaflets into South Korea, saying it is no longer bound to any inter-Korean agreements.The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported angry North Koreans are gearing up for their own "large-scale" leaflet campaign,.
