Love it or hate it, Blumhouse continues to do what it does best: make lean, low/mid-budget genre films that help the studio fund its more prestigious fare.
And while the quality of these movies varies, there’s certain charm to these B-movies, with Jason Blum more often than not giving young directors a chance to have more creative freedom than they’d get at a larger studio.
