Hollywood star Nicole Kidman has shared an emotional reunion with her elderly mother after eight months apart. The Aussie Oscar-winner, 53, was reunited with her 80-year-old mother Janelle following their separation due to lockdown restraints as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, now after months apart from each other, the pair shared a glorious hug in some moving and relatable photos on the star's Instagram.

The photos show Nicole in a black jumper and long curly blonde hair hugging Janelle tight, who herself is wearing a red jumper.

In the second image, Nicole can be seen smiling over her mother's shoulder. Nicole captioned the images: "Feels so good to be able to hug my mum!
