Two dogs were spotted stuck in a car for more than two hours as temperatures soared close to a Cornwall beach today. Police were reportedly called after worried passers-by noticed the pets in a car park near Looe beach.
A local claimed on social media that the dogs had been left in the car "for over two hours" and no-one had returned to the car to check on them.
Kieran Mccrash Mclelland said police were already at the scene when he noticed the dogs in the car, Cornwall Live reports. He believes officers eventually smashed a window to get the dogs out of the blazing hot vehicle.
