Newcastle United 's impending Saudi Arabian takeover by the country's crown prince Mohammad bin Salman has drawn criticism for being a "immoral" example of sports washing.
The takeover seems almost inevitable after rapidly progressing in recent weeks and Toon fans are delighted at the prospect of Mike Ashley's departure.
However, human rights campaigners are urging the club to reject the bid due to Saudi Arabia's human rights record, claiming that "money should not trump values".
