Neighbour orders mum to keep kids quiet between 7am and 7pm with 'threatening' note

A mum was left shocked when her neighbour left her a "threatening" note ordering her to keep her kids quiet for 12 hours a day.The hand-written letter warned the person would escalate a noise complaint, and criticised the noise her kids make, saying it was affecting their sleep.

The controversial letter, which was sent on Sunday March 26, caused a huge debate online with some defending the sender of the note, wondering why children live in that style of property, reports the Express.

However some said the neighbours should just accept the noise, noting it isn't malicious or adults partying which is disturbing them.The woman claims she's lived in the apartment block for years without facing any issues, so was wondering why there was now an issue.She even apologised in her own note and left it in a communal area, explaining her young children are having more tantrums, but said she's doing her best to keep the noise down.The note says: "Hi neighbour, we can hear banging almost every day that starts from early morning.

It's disturbing our sleep, particularly on weekends."We would appreciate it if you could please stop the noise and have a little consideration for your neighbours and that you live in an apartment block where the noise radiates around."If you are unable to control the noise, we may need to lodge a formal complaint to building management.
