Netflix will not remove interviews with Ian Bailey from its Sophie Toscan du Plantier documentary despite repeated requests from the journalist it has emerged.
Sophie: A Murder In West Cork is available to stream from today and features interviews with her family members including her son, Pierre -Louis, as well as with local residents of Schull.
In the run-up to the release, the self-proclaimed chief suspect in Sophie’s murder case has been vocal about the documentary being ‘one-sided’ and has even referred to it as ‘demonising propaganda.’ Ian told The Journal that he had made two written requests to the streaming giant to remove the footage of him but Netflix has apparently confirmed that it won’t delete the scenes.
