Ian Bailey has threatened to sue Netflix ahead of its upcoming series about the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier. It’s reported that Ian has written to the streaming giant demanding that his interview regarding the murder of Sophie be removed from the show.
A strongly worded letter was yesterday received by Netflix, as well as Lightbox media the company that made the series, from Ian.
The former journalist said in the letter that he will take legal action if his demands are not met. The series in question, Sophie: A Murder in West Cork, is due to begin streaming on Netflix Wednesday, June 30.
This news comes after the du Plantier family successfully removed its own interviews from Jim Sheridan’s series on the case.
