One of its next major releases is Sophie: A Murder in West Cork, which is set to drop on the streaming platform later this month.
It will focus on events surrounding the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier, a documentary producer from France. According to the creators, the show was made to ‘honour’ Sophie and to investigate why something so horrific happened in this part of Ireland twenty-five years ago.
West Cork is seen as peaceful, safe and inclusive, so it came as a shock when the documentary producer was killed here in 1996.
