Joe Otterson TV ReporterNBC is picking up another Canadian medical drama as part of its primetime lineup.The broadcaster announced Tuesday that it has acquired the series “Nurses” from eOne and ICF Films.
Filmed and set in Toronto, the series follows five young nurses working on the frontlines of a busy downtown hospital, dedicating their lives to helping others, while struggling to help themselves.The series originally premiered earlier this year on Global TV.
Season 2 has already wrapped filming. The 10-episode series stars Tiera Skovbye, Natasha Calis, Jordan Johnson-Hinds, Sandy Sidhu, and Donald MacLean Jr.Preview episodes will air Monday, Dec.
