The mother of murdered teenager Anthony Walker has opened up on the new dramatisation about him, and said she cannot watch the scenes where he is killed.
Gee Walker's interview with Kevin Duala and the show's screenwriter Jimmy McGovern was aired on The One Show on Thursday, where Gee recalled how she used to run up to boys she thought were Anthony, desperate to believe he was really alive.
New drama depicts his life had he survived, working backwards chronologically to the night he was killed. "Anthony was my dream, he was every mother's dream, I prayed for someone who is kind, generous, but he was really a wise person," she said.
