Reddit has called for alien sleuths to help them uncover the mysterious lights that they spotted in the UK this week. The person uploaded an eerie video to the platform which focused on the night's sky in Hertfordshire on Wednesday, February 9.They captioned the recording with a question and said: "What is this?

Filmed around 9pm in Hertford, England. It was silent and moved... there was nothing around but trees." The post received a fair amount of interest with 52 upvotes on the UFO blog, as users flocked to the comment section with many suggesting that the clip featured "spotlights".

One user wrote: "[It is a] spotlight display reflecting on clouds. Weird looking for sure, but unfortunately a pretty mundane answer."However, another user said: "Spotlights don't look like that with those patterns."Another person piped in and commented: "My friend was walking the dog last night and said this thing was pretty much following him around for 10 minutes."The further he walked from it the closer it got. [ He said] he was pretty freaked out and went home."Could it be a strobe or a drone of some sort?

The weird thing is that there were no buildings where it was, it was just a big park mostly covered by trees."Other users said the sighting was "common" and it all came down to a matter of perspective.Another added: "It's a perspective issue. [ It's kind of like those old spooky portraits with the eyes that 'follow you' but really don't."There must have been some event in the park."
