Anthony Walker was a promising young student when his life was snatched away from him in a vicious and racist stabbing. The 18-year-old was a bright and popular teenager.
He had dreams of becoming a lawyer and was a talented basketball player. Anthony was devoted to his family and girlfriend, Louise Thompson, and was a church leader in his spare time.
But on July 30, 2005, his life was snuffed out by two thugs who launched an unprovoked and violent attack as he walked through a park in Liverpool with his girlfriend.
He was stabbed to death with an ice axe by Michael Barton, brother of Joey Barton, and Paul Taylor, the footballer's cousin.
