Murder inquiry stood down as death of woman no longer suspicious

A murder inquiry launched after the death of a woman has been stood down and three men arrested have been released, police have said.

The death of Lisa Price, 38, is no longer being treated as suspicious, a force confirmed in a statement tonight. Paramedics discovered Ms Price's body at a house in Spring Street, Crawshawbooth, near Rawtenstall in Rossendale, on Tuesday, March 1.

She had suffered head injuries, Lancashire Police said. Three men aged 50, 41 and 21, from Rossendale, were arrested on suspicion of Ms Price's murder and later released on police bail.

In an update, Lancashire Police said they have no been released 'no further action'. A file was being prepared for a coroner ahead of an inquest, a force spokesman added.
