A mum-of-two has shared her clever trick for getting picky eaters to eat unfamiliar foods online. The cheap hack was praised by other parents as being a stroke of genius.

Anyone who has raised a fussy eater will know that meal times can become a battle of wills – and often culminate in tantrums.

Toni Bird, 33, posted a snap of the simple technique to a popular Facebook group – and all you’ll need is a cake stand. The savvy mum, who is a sales assistant at B&M, called her method “The Treat Plate”.
