A mum battling aggressive cancer fought back tears after her doting friends and family surprise her with an early Christmas party.

Natalie Kerr tragically does not have long to live after doctors found a tumour the size of a baby in her body. The Northumberland mum-of-three clung onto hope to spend as much time as possible with her loved ones following her tragic diagnosis.

With the sad news her disease was progressing at a rapid rate, pals feared it may be too late to wait until December - so they began plotting, reports Chronicle Live.

Best pal Gemma Baister secretly decided to bring the celebrations forward by a few months, putting on a festive bash in July.
