four people have had to be evacuated after a building "collapsed into the street" in the middle of the night in London,According to eyewitnesses, the building in Hertford Road, Enfield, collapsed in the early hours of Monday, May 10, MyLondon reported.Due to fears the building was still unstable the section of the road between Tramway Avenue and St Alphege Road was closed at around 4am.Hertford Food & Wine, a shop on the ground floor of the building, was also shut following the incident.Images from the scene, which were widely shared on social media, show debris scattered across the pavement in front of the shop..
