From 1975- 1980, serial killer Peter Sutcliffe stabbed and bludgeoned at least 20 women and girls, killing 13 of them.He wasn't caught until 1981, and began his life sentence at HMP Parkhurst.Though he was considered sane during his trial, Sutcliffe was later diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and transferred to Broadmoor Hospital, before moving to HMP Frankland.During his time inside, he was seriously assaulted several times and suffered a range of injuries.Here, the Daily Star examines some of the more disturbing attacks.In 1983, career criminal James Costello stabbed Sutcliffe twice in the face with a broken coffee.
