Morrisons launches 30minute beer and wine deliveries just in time for the weekend

You can now order beer and wine from Morrisons to be delivered to your door within half an hour. Launched in time for the weekend, it's all thanks to the supermarket's new partnership with Deliveroo.

Red and white wine and beer will be available at the same price as Morrisons supermarkets, with the only additional cost the delivery fee.

The result is that the 6.8million people who live close to one of the 130 participating branches of Morrisons can now get alcoholic drinks as well essential food delivered from the Deliveroo app.

Joseph Sutton from Morrisons said: “When we listen to customers during the lockdown they would like us to supply more treats for the emerging summer and the longer days. "We are continuing to play our full part in
