READ MORE:Neighbours fans divided as Kylie and Jason make emotional return after 37 yearsWhile Australian fans have already said an emotional goodbye to the programme, with some major stars including Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan returning for its last ever episode, there remained some hope on both sides that it could eventually be rebooted in future.

It wouldn't be the first time, either, as Neighbours has actually already been cancelled once before being picked up by a rival channel.

However, that hope was short lived, as Corbie the Psychic Tortoise has now confirmed that the show will never be back.In a video shared exclusively with Daily Star, Corbie was presented with two options - one card which read "It's gone forever - thanks for the memories!" and another reading: "Will come back from the dead like Harold Bishop!"In front of each piece of paper was an edible dandelion which proved irresistible to Corbie - and which flower he decided to chow down on first would determine the eventual outcome.Unfortunately for Neighbours fans across the globe, Corbie was drawn to the choice of the show being "gone forever" - and can wave goodbye to the possibility of seeing the likes of Charlene and Scott on our screens again.Corbie's owner Russell Soudain exclusively told Daily Star: "Sadly doesn’t look like even Dr Kennedy can bring it back!"In the past, Corbie's predictions have been eerily accurate, with the tortoise correctly predicting that England would beat Denmark in their Euros 2020 semi-final against Denmark.
