Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue and Sir Rod Stewart are among the celebrities paying tribute to Hollywood icon Dame Olivia Newton-John following her death. The Grease actress died aged 73 at her home in California on Monday following a breast cancer battle that spanned three decades.

Dame Olivia’s family announced the news in a statement revealing that she was surrounded by her family, including husband John Easterling and daughter Chloe Lattanzi, at her ranch.

John Travolta, who co-starred with the actress in classic musical Grease, was among the first to pay tribute to Dame Olivia in a tear-jerking message, saying she ‘made all of our lives better’ before signing off as: ‘Your Danny, your John,’ in reference to his character in the film.
