Major League Baseball (MLB) and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) revealed Friday a new iteration of video game seriesMLB The Show that willsolely feature Major League players.

The MLB The Show Players League will feature 30 athletes, including former All-Stars and World Series champions, who will compete in an inaugural online event raising money for Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Canada.

Donations of $5,000 from MLB, MLBPA and the SIE will be made on behalf of each participating player.
