Mikel Arteta slams "unacceptable" Granit Xhaka after another red card hinders Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has claimed his side "threw the game away" and called Granit Xhaka's sending off "unacceptable" after the Gunners suffered a 1-0 defeat against Burnley.

Xhaka saw red after grabbing Ashley Westwood round the throat in the second-half while the scores were still level and Arsenal were immediately forced onto the back foot with ten men.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then scored an own goal, compounding Arsenal's misery.
